What happends when 18 great musicians from 7 different countries meets in Tromsø?
Thursday January 21th 18 great musicians from 7 different countries will perform in KulturHuset – Tromsø.
The musicians are FK-participants at exchange in Norway. They are currently working with different partners in Norway and come from South-Africa, Zimbabwe, Palestine, Nepal, Tanzania and Mozambic. The audience will among others be exposed to djembe, trumpet, dance, mbira, tuba, percussion, oud, marimba and song.
The music workshop and concert is a part of a seminar for both FK-partners and FK-participants working with culture, discussing international exchange. Among FK Norways's culture partners are The Oslo Academy of the Arts, The Norwegian Band Federation, Field Band Foundation (South-Africa), The Culture School of Stavanger, TaSUBa and NOTA Bagamoyo (Tanzania), The Culture School of Fredrikstad, Concerts Norway, University of Agder and Kvæfjord Municipality.
Fredskorpset facilitates the mutual exchange of personnel between organisations and business in Norway, Asia, Africa and Latin-America.
The concert starts at 7pm - free entrance.
